Participation is limited to one distribution site and one Produce Saturday per household per month.
This food quantity may weigh as much as 40-50 pounds. You need to bring your own bag, box, basket, wagon or cart to take away the food to your car or home. Plastic grocery bags are not strong enough for this purpose. There may be limited volunteer assistance to help with carrying your food.

If the Somerset County Technology Center is closed, the SCMFB distributions for that day are CANCELED. If any schools are delayed, the SCMFB schedule WILL NOT be delayed.

The Somerset County Mobile Food Bank is expanding its deliveries with its first scheduled produce distribution.
This distribution is in addition to its regular monthly distribution week and will give assistance to families to receive more fresh produce, according to Ben Tawney, executive director.
This distribution is focused on produce and will not have any canned or nonperishable items. Note that participants of the Food Bank produce distribution will be allowed to receive their produce at any one of the following three locations on these dates:
Saturdays: March 11, April 11, 2020
9 a.m – 9:45 a.m. Conemaugh Township High School (300 W Campus Ave. Davidsville)
10:45 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. Meyersdale Community Building, Main St.
12:30 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. Somerset Merchant Village parking lot (1534 N. Center Ave.)
If you are already registered with the Mobile Food Bank, bring your current ID card and if you are not, they can sign you up at any location that same day. People who reside within Somerset county and qualify are encouraged to make it out to one of these three locations to receive free produce.
